Preterm Labor??

I am 32 weeks along. I've been getting intense lower back and side cramps for the past 2 weeks and I feel like there has been an increase in watery discharge. I have heard that these are all signs of preterm labor but the cramps come and go throughout the day and are usually worse at night. Could this be preterm labor, Braxton hicks or just normal pain?

I am 32 weeks as well and I just got out of the hospital after a two night stay because I was having, like you, lower back pain. But this pain was very intense and turns out I was contracting. I'd call or go see your doctor, better safe then sorry! Good luck!

I'm not sure but I would call your doctor just to be sure.  I have the same feeling sometimes but it is worse throughout the day.  Always better to ask someone who knows and can check you out :)

Be sure to drink lots of water and urinate frequently, and monitor timing. It will differentiate Braxton Hicks from real labor. It won't hurt to let your practitioner know as well
