How did your labor start out??

How did you know? 
I'm having contractions every ten minutes or so. Wondering if anyone else had this too? Had my membranes stripped yesterday at 11 am and have been crampy and spotting since. And like I said having some contractions  (they are definitely not BH contractions, I've never felt this before)

Mine started the same way. Contractions every 10-15 mins. It wasn't until about 33 hours after they started that I got admitted into L&D. Good luck! Hope things progress quickly for you :)

I haven't gone into labor yet, but I also had my membranes stripped yesterday.  I went to labor and delivery last night as I was having severe cramping, back pain and contractions.  They monitored me (I was having contractions 2-3 minutes apart) and had me walk around the hospital for an hour, but ended up sending me home.  Even though I was having contractions, they weren't strong enough to dilate my cervix any further than the 3 cm I already was.  It's so frustrating because they tell you to go to the hospital when you're having contractions 5 minutes apart, lasting 1 minute for an hour, but then you get there and are having them 2-3 minutes apart and they send you home!  I'm 41+1 today and am so ready for this baby! I'm hoping you will have better luck than me!! :)

My labor started 3 days before my water broke. I keep getting contractions 5 minutes apart and was only 1cm dialated. I went to the hospital 3 days in a row and 3 days I was given Vistoril and sent home. I was so tiered already I took a table spoon of castor oil. Walked around the mall. Went home pooped my brains out, sat on the medicine ball. Took a nap went to pee and my water broke.

Go on a walk and take a warm bath. My water broke while in early labor 2 out of the 3 times after I got out of the bathtub.

I felt really sick like I needed to use the restroom but couldn't then I started having contractions about 5 minutes apart. Next thing I knew was I stood up and my water broke.

I woke up to go pee, walked back into my bedroom and turned the tv off & then all of a sudden a small gush of water came out and I was like what? Did I just pee myself? No.. I just went. Haha. I went down stair to ask my mom and she asked if anything was still coming out and it wasn't so she had me sit down. I got impatient after five or so minutes. So it told her I was going to just go to the bathroom and check my underwear but as soon as I lifted my leg to step over the baby gater everything just came out. I didn't feel any contractions until we were almost at the hospital and hour later.

The only way I can explain it is the pain level. If the contractions are PAINFUL, it's probably the kick start of your labor. Some mom's don't feel that kind of pain, but majority do.

I had my membrane stripped on Wednesday 09/09 I had cramping after, at 7am Thursday morning my water started leaking and at 11:55am my daughter was born.
