Pelvic pain while walking?

Hi all!

I went on a walk this evening at the park with my husband. I'm currently 35 weeks and within minutes I started having pain along my pelvic bone that kept up the entire walk! The last time I had a pain like that was just when lifting my leg a certain way when I was laying down.

Anyone else have this? Should I be concerned? I never had this problem with my first pregnancy.

I have been experiencing this ever since about 30 weeks, I'm 38 now and it's just gotten worse but from what I've heard from others it's normal :/

I jump asked my OB about this - she said if the pain is low in your abdomen, no need to worry. If it's higher up, closer to your chest, she'd want to hear from me to check it out.

Pelvic pain is very normal this late in pregnancy,all the weight of baby & your water are pressing down on your pelvis and your pelvis is always expanding. Just take breaks and sit when you need to.

You should take breaks. Because the baby is putting more pressure on your pelvis when you are walking.

That's sciatic nerve pain.  It's nothing to worry about, another app I have says some people may start getting it at this week (I'm 34 weeks). I've had it since about 20 weeks and had it with my last pregnancy as well.  My obgyn says this is normal,  there are lots of exercises and stretches you can do to help. If it's severe your doctor can refer you for physical therapy.
