Technically, no. A period would strip the wall and any possible pregnancy with it. Some woman believe it is their period, when in fact it is actually just spotting from hormonal fluctuations. Which is normal to an extent, and should always be checked out by a doctor.

It's not a period. Your period is your body preparing your uterus for a new pregnancy since an egg wasn't fertilized. The bleeding is due to something else. Most common reason is a hematoma, which happened with my third child. Bleeding with my second child was due to having a difficult bowel movement and rupturing some blood vessels on my cervix. Of course I rushed to my OBGYN every time freaking out. The hematoma was the most blood and did continue until it disappeared.

There are cases that you can bleed.  It won't be as heavy as normal and it can even be for your normal period length.  It is extremity rare and probably not the case but I do know of a couple cases where this happened and they were heavier set woman who didn't know they were pregnant.  Went to the hospital side to pain aka contractions... And were surprised with being told they were in labor.   Very rare.
