TMI**Help please! Possible M/C??

Earlier today I had normally heavy bleeding for my first day of AF then later towards the evening it started to get extremely heavy that I had to change my tampon and then pad every hour. When I went to the bathroom, I noticed a large dark clot the size of my palm! I've never had anything like this before. Mind you, my period was also three days early which it is usually always on time or a day late. We have been TTC for about 10 months now as well. I'm not sure what this all means, if anyone has any info, that would be greatly appreciated! Also I forgot to mention that I had absolutely no cramping whatsoever.
