Trying to concieve after Mirena removal
Hey ladies! I had my Mirena removed June 12, 2015. I had it in for the full 5 years, and the hubby and I decided to try and concieve our third child. Prior to removal, my period was always on schedule, the 6th to 10th every month. After removal, I started spotting June 26, but didn't start an actual period until July 2-7. This was my first period since removal, and was horrifying! Very heavy compared to what I was use to while on Mirena. From there on, I began to have a period every other week, basically. One on, July 22-28, then again on August 5-10, and my last period thus far was August 19-24. My doctor told me it would take about 3 months for the birth control to fully wear off, so as out of whack as my body has been, it was expected. I have yet to start a period since, and Glow is predicting that I should start by this Wednesday, September 16. Praying for a positive test tomorrow! Anyone else have any issues, similarities or advice while trying to conceive after Mirena removal?
