When should you tell family and friends?

We are going to announce after our 12 week US Tuesday. We have a previous loss and want to make sure everything is still looking good even though I had 6 and 8 week US already.

We told our family and close friends within a week of finding out. We had a miscarriage back in March and we hadn't told anyone when it happened. This time we decided that not sharing our joy last time didn't keep tragedy from striking so we told right away. We just did our Facebook announcement today since we had our first appointment yesterday and my midwife said everything is going well. I'm 8 weeks 4 days.

When you tell us totally up to you guys. This is just our story.

We announced a little over 12 weeks. I have been so sick and bloated it was nearly impossible to hide. Once people started asking we just started telling.

We told at 4 weeks and a couple of days for family and 5 weeks and a couple of days for friends. We had a miscarriage before and really needed the support so we figured if it happened again we would need their support. I'm now 18 weeks.

I can't keep a secret, I told everyone right away with my first 2. With this baby I waited (it almost killed me) but my brother gf is pregnant with her first and I wanted to give her her time in the spotlight. We are due only 2 weeks apart.
