TTC AFTER IUD WITH PCOS...PLEASE HELP

I am 33 years old and I have pcos. I had my IUD removed back in April of this year and we started trying immediately. I am taking metformin and all its doing is keeping my periods regular. Has anyone else had this problem and what suggestions can anyone give me?? Please help!!!!
