How are the teachers doing??

I'm a teacher and I just started last week...it's tough!! I get home and just want to sleep all evening. It's also hard to take off all this work for doc appointments/sickness...so much work to prep for a sub! Just wanted to see if any other teachers out there are feelin it right now...

I teach Kindergarten, we have been in school for 26 days. I come home every day exhausted ,Friday's are the worst. My Dr sees patients a little later in the afternoon so I haven't had to take off early yet. I agree with you planning for a sub is more work than just being there.  I'm looking forward to my maternity leave!😀

I teach kindergarten and we have been back for 5 weeks. It has been really hard between exhaustion and morning sickness. My principal is pretty understanding about my appointments and honestly I book them for whenever I can. I'm so excited for them I'm always like FIRST AVAILABLE! Have yall's students started picking up on you being "sick" or anything? Mine are starting to ask about it but I'm really trying to wait and tell them!

I'm a teacher too and started last week as well.  It's exhausting!  Anything I being home to work on doesn't get done because I just sleep.    Feeling a bit behind!

High school teacher here who just started last week. So far I've thrown up every other day at work multiple times. Thank goodness the nurse's office is next door to my classroom. I'm a little over 10 weeks on baby #2 and the bump is getting nearly impossible to hide. My husband and I are both teachers at the same school and we decided that we are going public with our pregnancy next week. Good luck to you all!

I teach 1st grade and just finished 2 weeks of school. Luckily, my planning period is at the end of the day, so for my first appointment tomorrow, I don't have to worry about sub plans! Those are the worst. The kids keep asking me about my sea bands! I can play it off with them but another teacher already figured it out. Exhausted after school, I've been going home to nap pretty much right away. Hard to get planning and other things done!

It's tough!  I'm going on week 5 and came down with a cold on top of it all. I come home and nap for 2-3 hours before going to bed at 9. Four more weeks and I'm done with trimester 1 so hopefully my energy will pick back up!

My appts are usually late afternoon so I don't have to take off, but at 8 1/2 weeks, my bloating is getting harder to hide. :/

I schedule my appts for after my last period - I have a conference 7th period so I don't have to use up my days before baby comes!

Yes! I teach 2nd and just finished our third week of school. I have to take a half day Wed for my first appt and sitting here dreading sub plans. And praying that the all day nausea I've had this weekend is gone tomorrow!

H.S. teacher here!   Haven't seen the dr yet but I'm hoping I can make apts. at the end of the day only missing 1 class. We shall see!
