How did you tell your hubby the news?!

We just started trying to conceive,  but I already know how I'm going to tell him!  On our first "date" (to TGIFridays),  we found this tiny little toy on the ground,  a little fish, like you would get out of a quarter machine at a diner. We both kept playing with it all night (nerves and awkwardness! ), and then every time I went to his apartment I would hide it and it became a game (we still play!) A few weeks later, we went to a diner and they had a machine with them. On the first try, a little baby came out.  I threw it in my purse and with the next quarter we got a little hippo and added it to our game. Guess what I'm hiding once I get my BFP? :)

He was heading to work and i wanted some broccoli and ranch for breakfast.  I normally LOVE broccoli but that morning it made me sick.  He told me I should probably go get a test and take it.  I went and bought one later that morning and took it and it was positive. We were on a Jaws kick that weekend so I sent him a picture of the test with "I think we're gonna need a bigger boat". Lol.

Mines not that interesting. I woke up and took a test that was positive so I made up an excuse to run to the store before work and I picked up a onesie that said "daddy's new boss...sorry mom" and a bib that said "I love daddy". I put them in a gift bag and when I got home I said I had something for him. Since he was kinda grumpy I said it'll cheer you up! When he opened it, it took him a minute, then he looked at me and said "wait, are you???" Then gave me a big hug :-)

I told him as soon as I found out cuz we had been trying for 14 months, we were both super excited my due date is actually his birthday. But I have two wonderful step children (or my bonus babies) that are almost 12 and 10 and I went to the store and bought a plain white onesie and fabric paint and blue and pink and wrote arriving April 2016 and gave them a picture of my sonogram. And my stepdaughter squeak so high and loud and screamed your pregnant and ran and gave me a hug. My stepson has a perma grin on his face kept hugging me and his dad and kept the onesie with him the entire rest of the night. Now they both have them hanging up on their wall with the picture ( all by their choice ) 😍😍😍
