PCOS?!

Question

I'm only 20 and I just got my implanon taken out a couple of months ago I've noticed some changes and talked to my doctor at Planned Parenthood and told me I could possibly have PCOS and Endometriosis together my question is what works for pain I've tried everything and nothing works also is it possible that it can effect my fertility?

I have both PCOS and endometriosis. Before I went on a strict diet, I used heating pads and took Tylenol, Advil, etc.. I'd also take hot baths which would give me temporary relief. All that helped but didn't solve anything. When I switched to a strict diet, no gluten, dairy, or bad sugars, my pain slowly went away, along with other symptoms. There are other things that help too like certain teas... Peppermint, raspberry leaf, etc... I wrote a thread about alternative routes for curing/preventing endo, PCOS, cysts, and fibroids. See an OB that has experience treating PCOS. I had my first period at 9 and was formally diagnosed at 13 and put on the pill. The OB at children's was rude and told me "Now Patty Anne, this is not a free license to have sex willy nilly." It took all I had not to gut check her. Instead I told her "Boys are gross, boys will always be gross. I am a child, and intend to remain ad such until I see fit. Madam." I went through 4-5 more OBs like that and I'd have to explain PCOS to them Then I met the last 2 OBs, the first one put me in metformin and mirena. It was amazing. Now I've been weened off metformin because the combination of the IUD  coupled with cutting all soy and rbst has helped me start ovulating again, reduced my hairiness and helped me drop 30 pounds in 6 months See an OB, and check out Soul Cysters and PCOS diva.
