Help trying to conceive

Hey I'm 24yrs old and trying to conceive but I have PCOS I have AF every month I been trying since May took a test in June got a positive result but went to the doctor and took three more which were negative,what can I do me and my mate been trying this gonna be our first child he doesn't have any we only got 3 god kids,we both agreed on adopting a child but we don't know where to start at,we really wants to have at least one of our own
