Getting married! Need advice!
Here's the predicament: my sister got married last year and my dad threw a fit when she said she would like our step dad to walk her down the aisle halfway and then our dad the rest of the way... He threw such a fit that he said it is his daughter and that he (our dad) should walk her down and said that if he wasn't able to he wouldn't come to the wedding...
Now that I'm getting married, I want nothing more than to have them both walk me down the aisle, either at the same time or halfway...
How do I work this out? Anyone have or had the same situation? I LOVE my stepdad and sometimes feel closer to him than my biological father... But he IS my dad and I love him too... Goodness what a mess... I'm stressing over this so bad... I'm not getting married until September 2016 so I have a year yet, but I would just like some input... Thanks!!
