Anyone using a birth center?

Is anyone using a birth center with midwives rather than a hospital?

I am!  I am so excited to be surrounded by a support network ok midwives and doulas! they only deal with low risk moms but If you need to go to a hospital it's less than 5 min away!

Me! I gave birth to my son at a birthing center last May. It was a fantastic experience! I love all the midwives there, the care is exceptional. I highly recommend a birthing center if you are low risk.

I had my first baby at the midwife led birth centre and it was amazing.  I'll definitely go back there for this one as long as I don't have any complications.

Yep, I'm using a birth center. We will see how it goes, as they deal mainly with low-risk no complications pregnancies. It's across the driveway and associated with a great hospital, so if things go south, literally 1.5 minutes and you're in an ER if needed.
