Getting induced, what was it like?

Im getting induced Thursday if not sooner. I'm over due and ready for this baby. I never really thought id still be pregnant at this point so didn't even give induction much thought. Anyone who's had one have story of how yours went? How long, did you get an epidural? Did it result in a c section? Positive of negitive experience? Any info would be great! Thanks

My induction process lasted quite long, I went in at 4.30 on Tuesday and baby was born at 00:36 on Friday by emergency section. I had four pessaries and managed to get to 7cm but baby had moved in to a difficult position, was back to back and I was one of the few that the epidural failed for. I had a spinal block for the actual section and that was amazing! No pain felt at all. I will say that the contractions were intense but bareable, gas and air is fabulous and just trust the professionals who are looking after you. They know what they're doing.

Quite a difficult labour for me but id live every second of it again in slow motion for my little boy. It really is true that they say you forget the pain because of the intense love you feel!

I was induced on Sunday around 1030pm had my son by 1059 am Monday was dilated at 2 when I come in by about 9 I was at 3 broke my water stayed at 3 till 5 minutes before he come n jump straight to 8 to he was he

I had to get induced due to having steady rising blood pressure and the doctor could figure out why. It was a long process (34.5 hours from start to delivery) and I got an epidural at my 17th hour after the doctor broke my water.

I've had 4 positive experiences with induction and I'm about to have my 5th tomorrow! It's usually pretty slow, I've only ever been induced using pitocin. I've been dialated and effaced when I've went in. The quickest delivery was 12 hours after induction started.
