Numbness/cramp in left thigh?

Has anyone experienced a numb or slightly tingling feeling in their upper left thigh while pregnant. Also like a shooting pain or cramp in that area when I switch positions?

Please call your doctor! It could be as simple as a herniated disc, or your baby putting pressure on your siactic (sp?) nerve. OR it could be a blood clot, and those can become dangerous really quickly!!!

Depends how far along you are. Because sometimes the baby can press against a nerve.

Yes I had it on my right thigh...it got much more noticeable after 5-6 months...I still get it occasionally and she is almost 2.  Dr said no worries and it was as nerve getting pinched ( that nerve travels up and is close to skin)...BUT if it is bothersome I would always recommend checking with a Dr as you are pregnant...better safe than sorry!
