What not to name

I came here to get some ideas of baby names but I'm starting to think this should be called "What not to name your child"

Please keep your child in mind when picking out a name. They will have to fill out job applications one day. Quit trying to be cute for yourself and be responsible and mature for your child.

Also, learn the difference between a person, place, and a thing.

One of the reasons my husband and I are keeping our baby names a surprise is to avoid the passing of unwanted judgement. I don't get it =/

I can't stand unique spellings! I have lots of friends who can't stand their names because they are always spelled wrong. Also if it's popular right now I will avoid it at all costs! I don't want my child in a classroom with 5 or more kids of the same name!

My name is horrible... So I completely understand. Cennie (pronounced "Kenny" and I am a woman) and I have a friend named Chkupan (pronounced Cha-kwa-pen) and my step sister is named Celsea (pronounced Kelsey) all very interesting... And in my opinion, horrible. Nobody gets our names correct.

Even my name which is supposed to be "common" is usually spelled wrongly: "Erica" and even "Ericka"! The other day someone wrote "Arica"...and that's already annoying! Can't imagine trying to order some coffee at Starbucks with one of those "unique" names 😂😂😂😂😂
