My fiancé gave me a promise ring when I was 16. It stayed on my finger until we officially got engaged. Now it's sitting in my jewelry box for special occasions. It's nothing fancy or expensive, but it was very sweet and I loved it.

I got mine for Christmas. I had my tassel from my cap from graduation hanging in our car from the rear view mirror. And he had it tied on there and I went to fidget with it and found it and he smiled and told me what it was and now it's in my glasses case for special occasions.
