How much bleeding if too much during pregnancy?

This is my first pregnancy. I had sharp cramps in my lower stomach that lasted just a couple of minutes but had me in tears it hurt so bad. It was 15 minutes after sex. I began lightly blessing yesterday afternoon. It began to get too heavy for a longer and I had to wear a pad. I went through 2 tampons during the night... I'm scared I may have lost this baby.

Go to the er now!!!!!!!!! Don't wait! Please don't! I went thru the same thing Thursday night.by Friday my body dismissed the baby
And I went to the er yesterday and my fears were confirmed.I've been crying since they told me.so stop texting and go now! Tell them you think you're miscarrying.they'll take you back there quickly!

So, I went to my doctor this morning. They took me straight back. They took blood (still waiting on results). They said as far as they could tell from the physical exam my cervix is open. They could not see anything on the ultrasound, but said it might be because I'm not that far along. They didn't see anything in f tube, so that's good. I called the doc and the nurse wasn't available to take my call, so I'm going to wait 30 minutes and call them back.
