Baby Shopping on Thanksgiving

Hi ladies, I am pregnant with twins and they're officially due in mid February but my doctor said twins usually come early so I should be prepared to have them sometime in January. I'm thinking about doing my baby shopping on Thanksgiving, so maybe I can get some good deals on stuffs like crib, stroller, car seats, etc. Since I'm a first time mom to be, I'm not sure if any store have these stuffs on sale during holiday season. Is it worth waiting and doing baby shopping during holiday season? I'm confused cause I'm gonna be big and the weather would be pretty harsh. And also where should I go for shopping?
