IVF at 30 - starting next month!

Jenny • Late 20's. TTC #1 Recovering from 2nd miscarriage at 6-7 weeks.
I'm 29 and my husband is 30 - both fit and healthy. We've been TTC for 2 years now and are going to start IVF next month (w ICSI and PGS). Anyone else in the same boat?
I got pregnant the first time after 4 months of trying only to miscarry at 6-7 weeks. Chalked it up to bad luck and continued trying. When things didn't seem to be happening after another year (so many ovulation tests and failed pregnancy tests!), we went to an RE for a complete infertility work up. My tests came back normal and my husband's were a bit abnormal (low motility and 5% morph). So we did Clomid + IUI and got a BFP the first try. We were so excited. Then at 7 weeks we saw two gestational sacs - one was empty and one had a slow heartbeat. It ended in another miscarriage and a d&c at around 8 1/2 weeks. We had genetic testing done and the embryo has a rare chromosomal issue (tetraploidy). Back to drawing board again and another round of infertility blood work (all normal again)...that's when we decided to do IVF. We're fortunate that our insurance covers a lot of the costs - most meds, ICSI and part of PGS. It's been a trying year. Nervous and excited to start IVF - hoping my body copes well and we get that BFP that finally sticks.
