So I had my 40 week appointment and an ultrasound today. She's gorgeous and precious and perfect but it looks like she might be staying in a bit longer :( Only 1cm dilated, 50% effaced and still a little posterior, plus she has plenty of amniotic fluid so it's unlikely they'll discuss inducing until my 41 week appointment at the very earliest. I believe I had a membrane sweep done...she cleared with me ahead of time that I was ok with her doing one, but having never had a cervix check before I'm not 100% sure she actually performed the sweep as well.
