Anyone?

Im not too sure if its my period or if im spotting because im ovulating. I am so lost, my cycle has been messed up for years & i started spotting last night but it is seriously something I've never experienced because it is black! Like literally black.. with a tiny little spot of bright red everytime. Im not sure whats going on. Glow says in ovulating & my period wont be here for another 17 days.. can anyone give me some insight as to what it really is. Is it an early period or is it ovulation spotting & just old blood from my last cycle?
