Baby girl isla has arrived!!
Wow. Third pregnancy and labour and it happened all so quickly!
Started to have +Braxton hicks at 3:30, by 6 they had turned to manageable contractions and then came to the hospital for 8.
Found out I was 4 cm dilated - midwife tore membranes ( didn't hurt! ) and then contractions got more intense.
Was asking for an epidural and as the foc came in to do the safety talk and provide me with pain relief, I felt the urge to push.
Thinking I had hours to go,I told my midwife that I wasn't pushing, but she knew.
She threw the anesthesiologist out And said the babies head is right there. Push!
I pushed for all of 5 minutes and she was out!
We didn't know what we were having so we are over the moon that it's a baby girl as we have two boys at home!
