Baby's Position?!

I'm a FTM having a baby boy due Nov.26! I am currently 30wks. My question is, how can you tell if your baby is head down? (Besides the obvious US) (I know the baby is still switching and all since I'm only 30 wks) I can tell when he has hiccups and I can feel them mostly down in my pelvic area so does that mean he is head down right now? Also I feel sharp jabs in near my ribs so is that also an indicator that he's head down since the sharp jabs could be his feet kicking my ribs? Thank you if you do comment! I greatly appreciate it.
