When are you telling your manager and co-workers?

Question

We haven't told anyone we are pregnant. We are planning on telling our families at thanksgiving and then announcing with our Christmas card.

When are you telling your manager or co-workers? I have 2 doc appts which I had to schedule during work hours. I let my manager know the dates and times of the appts but didn't say what the doc was for. I usually tell him everything and he is extremely supportive of everything. Suggestions?

I told my boss today that I'm 4 and a half weeks pregnant, and she burst out with "I'm six!" At least now I have a preggo buddy in the office!

My manager is super uptight. I really didn't want to tell her. But I have 3 apps that will affect my work schedule so I had to tell her. I'm only 5 weeks. My baby is my first priority right now. Work second.

I just got a job offer to start on october 7th, I don't know if I should say anything about this or if I should wait for a while?  I think it could affect whether or not I stay on or not....

Well I wanted to wait until about 12 weeks but today when I went to get the ultrasound done I saw one of my coworkers.. She's 39 weeks pregnant. I could tell she knew something was up since my husband and sister were there with me for the appointment.. So now I'm like I guess I need to tell bc I know she will.

I'd highly recommend telling manager before any coworkers. That's not something managers should hear secondhand. And I'm personally waiting the 12 weeks, though today when she was talking to me about something it almost felt like a good time, but I haven't had my appt yet and I'm sure I can wait the 5 more weeks

With my first I told my bosses at 14 weeks. This time I'm not sure because I've been feeling so sick lately. My direct supervisor knows I had a miscarriage this summer, so she shouldn't be too shocked. Good luck!

I told my coworkers when I found out. I'm glad I did because it turns out my other coworker is pregnant too. It makes me feel less alone. We are currently 5 weeks. My boss doesn't know yet, he is still trying to let the coworkers pregnancy sink in. So I figured I'll let him know after my appointment next week. We work in the vet field so there are some things you have to be careful with. Otherwise I might have waited.

I told mine yesterday, at 6w4d. I'm a bartender and am having aversions to the smell of alcohol. Any and all alcohol. Which has posed quite a problem! Lol. I had a mc in March that they were very supportive of my grieving process.

I'm self employed and work alone.. So it's more of... When will I tell my clients cus they all know I have miscarried before and every time I see a recurring client (every 4-6 weeks) I get the .... "Sooo anything new to tell me?!" Question haha
