How do you feel about being married before you have children?

I wanted to be married before I had kids. But this seemed to work out as well. Probably for the better because I have better insurance this way (through my step mom).

I don't necessarily think you need to be married, but I think you should be in a long term, commited relationship. Marriage isn't for everyone and that's cool, but I think sometimes some people rush into having children too early in relationships and unfortunately the kids are the ones who have to pay the price when it doesn't work out. Obviously mistakes happen and birth control fails, but I'm talking about when people actively are ttc with their partner. (This is obviously excluding single people who want to have children. Get a surrogate, adopt, get IVF. Do you, homies <3)

I prefer marriage than baby but didn't workout like that...wanted to make sure I could still have the baby...waiting on marriage your time may never come or run out...

I would like to married before having children and thats not only because I am a Christian but because I'm old fashioned and to me there's something so cool about the idea of waiting!!
