Chemical Pregnancy?

My period was due Sunday the 13th. Didn't show so I took a test (let's get real, I peed on several sticks) Sunday and Monday which came back positive. Late Monday night I started bleeding like my period. Tuesday morning it was full blown and the tests were coming back negative. Is this considered my period? Some sources say yes and others are saying no. I see my doctor on Tuesday, but was hoping to get some insight from you lovely ladies in the meantime. Thanks!
