What usually happens at the initial visit?

So I'm 4w4d and I have my initial visit on the 29th. I'm meeting with the nurse at the practice. What usually happens at the initial visit? I'm horrible when it comes to doctors. I'm trying not to freak out and not over analyzing.

I have fainted while taking blood and at a chiropractor visit. I'm hoping to get over my fears easily and quickly.

I just had my first visit and I'm 4w4days as well! They will do a urine preg test, check you and do a pap, talk to you about what to do and what not to do during your first trimester and then they will do bloodwork.

I am 4 weeks today and my first app is on the 24th. And I'm HORRIBLE when it comes to getting blood drawn! I always either pass out or throw up... So take a small bottle of orange juice with you, believe me it helps.... But I don't really know what to expect with my first appt either!!!! So following (: congratulations by the way !

They're gonna take blood at most of your visits. So get used to it 😀
