Pumping while driving?

Hi all!

Does anyone know if it is illegal to pump with a hands free breast pump while driving? It sounds a bit absurd to me but I commute an hour each way to work and thought it might be a good time to pump if its not too distracting.

Has anyone tried this? If so, what helped and did you get too distracted?

I never really considered that it could be illegal (it IS hands-free after all). I did it all through the time I breastfed my daughter and was never pulled over. I hope that helps!

It's not illegal, but if you're distracted, pull over for a sec :)

I pumped while driving, both hands free and with a medela manual pump (sometimes you just gotta). I never had any trouble.
