When did you stop working?

I'm 40+1 today and I have a few contractions here and there I want to go to work so I can have as much time as I can with my baby when he decides to arrive but at the same time I'm miserable at work and don't get anything done anyways. What has everyone else done?

I'm working up until d-day.

Glad to be able to work from home but I have to say it's so awkward trying to work on a laptop with a watermelon size belly- nothing is comfortable,  my neck and shoulders ache and turns out I got pregnancy induced carpal tunnel

Why can't the U.S. have a maternity policy like every other country in the world?!!?😁

I'm 39+1 and I'm right there with ya! I plan and want to work up until she is born but everyday gets harder and harder. I'm going to try really hard to just tough it out because as a 3rd time mommy thoes days at home with baby are more important then getting through the work day. Hang in there!! Good luck :)

Today is my last day. I will be due next Monday the 21st.

I worked with my first until the morning I delivered. Due 9/29 and will continue to work until I go into labor. I mostly work from home so that helps! ☺️

I stopped working a week ago at 38+1. I took this week as leave and my maternity leave officially starts on Monday, when I will be 39+4. I would have been ok to continue working this week actually, but with due date looming I was massively scared she would try to make her appearance in the office! Good luck to those still working!!

Tomorrow is my last day, due Monday and I am feeling so happy and relaxed with my decision. Whether he comes or not I am done working and focusing on welcoming my little guy.

I'm 38.4 and today is my last day working.... I work about an hour from home managingg an animal hospital. my boss told me today would prefer i start my leave and I be home in a safe place when I go into labor...

Already had to leave a couple of times for early labor contractions... And it was not a fun drive home lol

I worked the day they induced me. I was exactly 40 weeks and had a long lunch scheduled for my appointment. My blood pressure was high so she sent me to the hospital for induction.

I stopped last Friday and she came early Monday morning on her due date .
