Mom's ridiculous comment...

Danielle
So my mom is in town visiting, and every day she'll ask me if I've been feeling the baby (I'm 18 weeks). I had some random flutters here and there around 15-16 weeks, but haven't felt anything really since then. I've been keeping my head calm about it, rationalizing that I didn't really feel my first son's movements until closer to 20 weeks, but obviously it's on my mind and I'm slightly paranoid about it. Her asking all the time isn't helping much, but the KICKER (pun intended)... The other day she goes "so, do you think this baby is much weaker than j?" (My first son).
Ummm... WTF. Who effing says that to a pregnant woman?! I absolutely lost it, and she goes "well, I don't mean weak" and I yelled at her to choose her words more wisely next time!
Blah. All the while, I'm sitting here, desperate to feel a flutter :(. We just moved across the country to a state far from family or friends, and I'm just praying nothing crazy happens and that this baby is perfectly fine hiding under the fluff. I ordered a heartbeat monitor the other day to ease my mind a little in between appointments... When did you all feel movements that you were 100% sure was your baby?
