Animals acting differently???

Question

For those who are recently pregnant or have been pregnant before... Have you noticed your dogs or other animals acting differently towards you? Like constantly all about you?

My cat is obsessively attached to me during each pregnancy. Not pregnant she ignores me almost completely. Lol.

My dog is even more obsessed with me than he was before. And constantly cuddling my bump!

Our little chi-weenie normally has nothing to do with me unless I'm the only one home, and lately she's been choosing me over my husband and son. I'll tell my husband to call her to sit with him and she'll go for a couple of minutes then run right back to me.

My last pregnancy my dog actually peed on me...twice! He would get up on the couch and stare at me and then start peeing. The vet said they feel the change in our hormones and it makes them a lil crazy.

When I was pregnant, my usually "I'll lie over here by myself" female doxie became a huge cuddle monkey. I lost it at 11 weeks a little over a year ago, and she went back to not being a huge cuddler. My other doxie (male) didn't have a change at all.

PS dachshunds rule. ;) I count chi-weenies in there too!

My female pittie has been up my butt lately lol a anywhere I go she follows and is always by my side she has no interest in playing with my great Dane anymore as much...that was what made me think I was to begin with love my fur babies

My boyfriends dogs definitly act different. One of them is older male shitzu and he is constantly by me all the time. Whenever I say ow or move suddenly he freaks out. He's always on me and if my boyfriend wants him to leave the room he'll snip at my boyfriend growl and get so defensive for no reason. And when the puppy comes around he won't let the puppy get near me at all. The puppy is a male border collie mix and he'll constantly sit on me. I can be laying in my side and he'll sit right on my legs my hips my chest anything he can plant his botty on. It's so funny to me

Yah. My male cat is looking for a ton more attention than usual and he's a very cuddly cat as it is. My female has become more of a bitch than normal (she's half Siamese half Himalayan) but she still wants attention.

Yes my little dachshund is usually all over my husband. Since we've gotten pregnant she never leaves my side.
