Is it possible for a pregnancy test come out negative and not be right ?

I took a pregnancy test Monday afternoon because I been having the pregnancy symptoms and came out negative. I'm still having the pregnancy like symptoms. Is it possible that the test was wrong? How long should I wait to take another test ?

Yes! I took one last week and it was bfn and I have been so sick this week so took another one tonight and got a bfp

From my research, it is very uncommon to get a false negative unless you are just testing too early. The only other reason I have found is user error of the test; not enough urine, not AM urine, etc. So really it would just not be able to pick up enough of the hormone if you're testing to early or misused the test, other than that, it's rarely a false negative. More likely to get false positives...

If your levels are too low the test wont pick up yet. Also depends on if you are already late or testing early
