Flu shot??

I've never gotten a flu shot in my life but its my understanding pg women are supposed to get their flu shot. Does anyone know one way or the other?

Yes you are suppose to get one.  I got mine today :/ lol hate shots but paperwork i got says pregnant women should get a flu shot especially if they are pregnant during flu season. Also the flu shot has no live flu virus in it so it can not give you the flu.

I'm getting one because I work in the lab and because the flu is no fun when I'm normal, I don't want to experience it while pregnant lol. Flu season has started, we had our first positive this week😱😱😱

I didn't with my previous pregnancies and won't with this one either... I have actually never had one... I did have the whooping cough vaccine after I gave birth though.

Yes they recommend it especially when pregnant. When pregnant with the flu there is a risk of mom and or baby dieing. I normally only get the shot when pregnant or when we have a newborn as I never get the flu. But when prego I would never risk not getting the shot.
