50 mg clomid success stories?

Today my ob put me on 50 mg of clomid. (Lowest dose which will be raised if ovulation doesn't happen) We have been trying for over 2 years with one miscarriage in March. I have very irregular cycles and ovulate late and she is very certain this will help regulate that.  I am super excited to get started and would love to hear your experiences good or bad! How many cycles did it take for your BFP if you got it on clomid? And at why dose? Thanks in advance ladies for your input!!
