Move to a different country for school or stay in the same town near my boyfriend?

I have an opportunity to move to the Philippines for school. That means I'll be away for 3-4 years! My boyfriend and I have been together for over a year now (16 months) and we're very much in love with each other. I know school and my future is really important and I should be placing it as my first priority. If I do move, I'll only be able to come visit once a year. I'm just curious to what others think of my situation! 😅

As a girl who picked her college based on a boy, Twice, please follow your dream. Go and have an amazing time. LDRs are hard, but they can be amazing! I would not have gone to the schools I went to if it weren't for those boys. I made the decisions for them instead of me.

Ask him if he's willing to move with you, unless you're staying at the school but if you both want to make it work he could always come visit as well. It doesn't have to be a one side thing.

I would weigh the options. Is that the best school to go to for your field? Are there better options that have to be closer? Don't let the deciding factor be based around a guy. Do what will ultimately be best for you and your future.
