Teen relationship advice?

Hi guys, im 16 years old and i have a wonderful boyfriend that i love.. we will be together for a year next month and im deeply in love with him. But sometimes i worry that things will change or something will happen. I know he loves me just as much and he never does anything to hurt me but i want to know if thier are any woman out thier who have been with thier lover since highschool? And if so please share some advice ☺️ i feel like we will last for a very very long time. We both cant imagine life without us in it.

My husband and I are high school sweethearts starting dating when I was 16, him 17. We dated for 3 years 2 months to the day. We broke up simply because we had drifted apart. After two years of being apart we found our way back to each other. He had joined the military and I became an military wife. We have now been married two years this past July and though we've had some rough patches in our marriage we couldn't be happier. Needless to say without that break up he wouldn't be sleeping next to me today; if we hadn't entered adulthood apart we would not have lasted as adults now. Time at least for us did us well, we realized we're we belonged and who we were meant to continue on this journey of life with. There's no advice to really give their than be honest with each other at all times and love hard. Some couples marry straight out of high school and some end shortly after, sometimes finding your way back to each other. There's nothing you or anyone can do to make someone stay, you just have to trust your heart and that fate will keep y'all together for the long haul. Best of luck Hun!?

I want to share a quote with you that I think may help. "I don't really think we're ever too young to be in real love. Sometimes we're too young to make commitments, or to think that love will last, but I don't think love is less real because someone has lived fewer years." That being said, my best friend was in a long distance relationship with her boyfriend for two years starting from age 16. When I say long distance, I mean from Vegas to Canada. They talked every single day, made plans for their future with each other in them, and both truly wanted everything to work out the way they said it would. Well, when she turned 18, she moved back to go to college here and now they're engaged and planning a wedding. It can work out, both of you just have to be committed. My parents started dating at 15, and they're still together after all these years. My fiancé and I started dating at 16, and here we are 5 years later and we're still together and engaged. Just be open and honest with each other, be loyal, and after that, the love you two share will keep you guys together. Best of luck, honey!! ❤️

My parents started dating when they were sophomores in high school and they've been married 23 years ☺️ they're advice has always been that it's not impossible for you and your high school sweetheart to stay together but it takes communication and teamwork because it will be rough at times. You're young so be hopeful!

My fiancé and I are twenty-five years old and have been together since we were fifteen (almost sixteen). We broke up many times, even dated other people, and still came back together and are ready for marriage and a family. Our love is stronger than ever but it was rocky and we have both changed so much. Luckily we changed without our goals and desires differing from one another. I've been with my husband for 8 years. The best advice I can give you is be honest and be patient. You will always make mistakes. But learning and growing from your mistakes and having your partner supporting you through it is such a beautiful thing. You can't expect things to always be easy. Things are always so easy in high school. As soon as you're in the real world you both have to think about your goals and dreams, see if they line up. Never sacrifice what you want for your future. I dated a guy when I was 16 and I thought he was the love of my life and I planned our future and etc etc but my mom was the one who ended it. But now I can honestly say I'm glad she did. I know have this amazing boyfriend and we just had our 7 month anniversary. I just turned 18 in June and his birthday was before mine in March and he turned 21. I'm in college 2 states away but planning to move in with him soon. I love him more than I thought I could ever love anyone ever again. And I would do anything for him. Even if you don't wor out with your current boyfriend just know that maybe there will be something better.
