Nose piercing info?

So I really really want a nose piercing but want to know everyone's experiences with them. Is there anything I should know? How bad does it hurt? Is it hard to take care of?

I did mine myself the first time and it wasn't bad. I shouldn't have done it because I was 14. But it lasted a couple years until I had to take it out for a job. I got it repierced and didn't clean it well enough and got a keloid thingy on it so I took it out again.

I have tattoos and other peircings but honestly my nose was the worst! I ended up taking it out a few years later. It sucks when your sick and it hurt like a MF when I get it done it felt like I was punched in the nose. My eyes watered but it didn't bleed much. I have 6 tattoos and 8 dermals and my cartilages and 2 inner conch rings and other than my hip dermals my nose hurt the second worse. And after almost a year with it out I still have a little bump under my skin from it. But every one is different some people say it didn't hurt at all some say it wasn't that bad but for me it sucked pretty bad!

Popping a zit on your nose is worse...just rinse it with some saline solution a few times a day...easy peasy, mine has lasted forever and I've had no problems. Do NOT get it pierced with an earring gun, it causes lots of scarring and any reputable shop will not do it that way but I've seen people online talk about getting it done that way

I have my nostril and septum pierced, it stings and your eyes water but it only hurts for a little bit and the healing for me at least was super quick and easy.

it made my 1 eye tear up... but it's like a pinch.
the after care is a little annoying for me. I had gunk coming out from the inside and it was a little difficult to apply my foundation and powder at first since it was sensitive. but I LOVE it 
got it done 3 different times so clearly it's not that bad pain-wise.

Got mine two years ago and I love mine. Easy to take care of. And it only feels like a little pinch so it wasn't bad
