If SO goes out and buy a car with the help of other people, what would you do?

Had help of family member lookig for right car..then bought it

I would be upset because of not being included in the decision even if I didn't have the final say. I think major purchases should be done together.

Totally depends. Is it something that was talked about? Was it a decision that would affect your finances greatly? Or are you guys able to financially make it work?

If we had the money and it was the same as or better for us than what our previous car was, I'd be fine with it.

If he knew that we couldn't afford it and did it anyway I would be mad.

I would be mad because mine told me last night That I can't help family anymore and we don't even live together so our money goes in to different checking accounts

I personally wouldn't mind. I hate car shopping. My husband isn't great with car shopping. If one of my family members went with him, they would talk him out of any bad deals.

This happened to me June when my husband and is BBF bought house wash and dryer set  was soooooo upset. Of course we discuss about buying a month before my husband said it a surprise like seriously I should pick what I need in my house. So l insist in returning them and put his friend in is place immediately. The only reason I allow it stay was because my  husband said "you know you pregnant I'm just trying to make life easy for you since I won't be home for a month ".  If not for the pregnancy they are so going to return it. For me return it's unless you like it or otherwise.

I'm a believer in choosing my battles. I personally have no knowledge to provide and wouldn't particularly care too much about the specifics of the car provided that the capacity of the car had been decided (like seating for 5 or 7 or whatever). So I personally probably wouldn't fight this battle.
