Glucose test

My doctor said my glucose was slightly elevated at 139. They said they wanted it to be 130 but I read online that it should be below 140. I'm confused and now I have to go for the 3 hour. Feeling nervous. I also didn't fast before the 1 hour and feel like that may have something to do with it. Any advice?
