Anyone ever had pleurisy while pregnant? How do they treat it in pregnancy?

For months now I have had severe head congestion and a nasty cough. I have seen my OB multiple times for this issue. I was on 3 different antibiotics when this first started and none helped. Then they gave me an inhaler which did not help. Now she has me taking Zyrtec, Benadryl, and Sudafed...but my issues continue. The past week my chest and back began hurting, I gasp for breath sometimes. Eating is near impossible because I have to gasp for air in between bites. And a couple days ago my ribs about 6 inches below my armpit started feeling like there is a knife rammed in there. Anytime I cough, sneeze, breath, it feels like that knife is being twisted. My mom said this sounds like pleurisy. I have lost faith in my OB when it comes to sicknesses. Not one time has anyone in that office listened to my lungs with a stethoscope. Never ordered a chest x-ray or anything. I really don't want to go to the ER and have a huge bill...but at the same time I am struggling to breathe at times and my doctor has done nothing for me. :(
