Feeling like a lost cause

I was on implanon for 6 years, followed by 1 year of depo. I had my last shot the first week of Jan 2015. I just got my first period Aug 26 2015. I see all these post about depo being so hard to conceive after.. and on top of that I see all the posts about women having difficulties after implanon! I am really scared I have screwed myself twice. Not one doctor ever told me about these issues! I was really hoping to get pregnant by the beginning of the year. My husband keeps telling me, it will happen eventually.. i just don't understand how they can put you on a drug and not tell you these side effects.
