Hey so I have questions... first how many of you had a baby shower for your first child? Is there a gap of time that if you don't have a second in that it's ok to have a shower for ur second baby? If you didn't get one for ur first would you want one for ur second? Who is supposed to throw u the shower? Is there ever a point where as a mother you reach an age you should have a baby shower if ur having a baby?

I'm just curious, my son is now 8 I never got a shower and I was completely alone for delivery. I'm ttc with my SO (not my son's father) and things will be different for this baby...I at least want them to be different.
