So I have a question for those of you that receive or HAVE received MEDICAID for Pregnancy! I am not able to work right now due to high risk preg.. but I'm already 35 weeks. I due have decent insurance thru my mom and dad.. but I still have to pay remaining doc bills.. anyways I go to health n welfare to re apply for food stamps. N they push me onto getting on medicaid. ANYWAYS. The father of my child has a decent job.. and is in my life... but health n welfare never once asked about him.. let alone if he helps me... anyway.. if I do accept this medicaid for my baby and I, will they go after my baby daddy for all hospital bills that medicaid payed?? Or since we're not married does it even matter?? Like I said he does make good money.. so it scares me.. n I'm totally fine with not exepting the medicaid. I just don't want all the free doc bills to fall back on him. . Although were not married. PLEASE LET ME KNOW! !
