3 positive opks then period?

So... Saturday, Sunday, and Monday I had my first ever positive opks. Then today (Tuesday) I started my period.  
Does this happen to anyone else? If so, how often?

I got my IUD out two months ago and have been ttc since then. Last month, at all different times of the month and with all different brands, I got three positive, peak ovulation tests. I've decided I can't use them because they don't work on me. I started to feel like it was all just a big scam and stopped spending my money on them. Although secretly I want to take one everyday. It just sucks when you get three positives, and you know that's not possible. Haha! Good luck!
