How did your membrane sweep turn out?

I had my membrane sweep 2 days ago when I was 1 cm and 70% effaced. I just lost my mucus plug so hopefully that means things will be starting soon!

Went to my 39 week appointment yesterday morning and doctor did a cervical exam and said I was 3cm dialated and 70% effaced (first time being checked since 35 weeks when I was 1cm) and baby was very low. He suggested a membrane sweep so he did it and I started having contractions just a few hours later. They progressively got closer together all day, were very consistent and then once they got down to 7-9 mins they started losing consistency then eventually stopped. Feeling pretty frustrated.

Got it done today...not painful but very uncomfortable feeling and now I'm feeling pain near my pelvic area and vagina feels swollen (sorry TMI) but no contractions yet...hoping its gets going tonite or tomorrow...39 weeks & 1 day.
