I'm technically about three days before I'm supposed to start my period, but last night I started having bad cramps and spotting a bit. I wouldn't be concerned, but spotting isn't normal for my cycle and neither are cramps this early. I started my period when I was 11 and I'm 23 now. I'm on the pill and am pretty consistant with taking it at the same time every night to increase the effectiveness because my husband and I aren't looking to have kids right now (we just got married in January). Is this something I should be concerned about? I'm sure I'm probably worrying over nothing and should just wait a few days and see if I start... But I can't help but be concerned when this isn't a typical part of my cycle.
