First gyno appt?

I recently had sex for the first time and my mom find out and made me an appointment. What should I expect? One of my friends mentioned a metal clamp an I was pretty freaked out....

The metal clamp doesn't happen until you get a pap smear at age 21. The doctor will probably just do a breast and vaginal exam. Nothing too weird. Just remember that they see body parts all the time so try not to get weirded out.

Same thing happened to me with my mom all they did was check my beasts and vagina and also test for stds. Oh she also discussed birth control with me and prescribed it to me.  They didn't use the metal clap on me

It hurt really bad for me! When they do the exam, from my experience out this huge dildo looking thing deep in me to see in there. I cried really hard. I'm not trying to scare you but not trying to sugar coat it either. Just be prepared for at least a little pain. Sorry

I can promise you that he will not use any sort of clamp! When you go, they will want to know your sexual and medical history. You will get to discuss your birth control options and then there will be a brief exam. This is to assure that you are healthy! If the doctor sees anything awry, he will refer you to a specialist. Don't be scared! It's something we all have to go through as women. Consider it as a stepping stone!
