Difficult Relationship

I need some advice.....

My BF and I have been split up since May of this yr... I found out he had stole things from my home... $$ from my child came up missing as well, and he admits to the items (not that he could deny them, he pawned this) but he swears he did not steal from my son!!!

The items he took are irreplaceable and it really broke my heart.. The hardest part was having to have him arrested... He had his BM come get him out of jail and spent time at her house a few times during all this, then moved in with another for about a month (which he says he "tried" to have sex but couldn't.. Also very hard to believe) He moved out of her house and back to his parents while getting back on his feet, and the last few weeks we have been talking and seeing each other....

Throughout our entire relationship him and his BM would talk A LOT more than I thought necessary and about things that was inappropriate... I caught him talking to other women a few times throughout our relationship, it seemed like he needed the attention to make him feel like a man...

But when it came to OUR relationship we were GREAT... Never loved someone the way I loved him and I want to believe he loved me!!!! My family, including my son does NOT like him and its keeping me from being 100% committed to US again....

I'm honestly scared to death and I have absolutely no idea what to do!!!!
